The all new touch screen toaster will be the ultimate toaster. No longer limited to a bread topper, you can now toast the whole toaster in one step with a “touch screen” that responds to your touch. How cool is that? Well…if you’re anything like me, the subject of toasting isn’t exactly what you’re into. Nevertheless, toasters continue to evolve and these toasters have some pretty cool features.
My wife uses hers every single day. I’ve seen her use it to bake a cake, mix batter, etc. she has a toaster that allows her to do almost everything and she loves it. I can’t tell you how many times I have seen toasters sold in outlet malls that have absolutely nothing to do with cooking. I’m not sure why they sell them, other than they have pictures of toasted marshmallows on them.
It wasn’t that long ago that we needed an oven to toast our marshmallows. It’s just been too much work. I finally came upon the perfect solution. I saw one at the local home supply store. It was called a “toaster oven”. What a great thing, you say?
Anyway, it gets hot, you put the marshmallow into the toaster and wait for it to get ready, then you flip it on. Before I even know it, the marshmallow is ready and waiting for the toast to come out. Usually, it takes about 10 seconds for the toaster to get warm.
It makes sense though, don’t you think? We’ve all flipped open the toaster before to try to do something with it. My favorite thing to do with it is to draw faces on it with my finger. You can also make waffles, pizza and all kinds of frosted baked goods. If you want to do that, then you have to flip it over so that you’re standing with your hands down. You can use a butter knife or your fingers to accomplish this.
My favorite part of it is that it is very easy to clean up afterwards. The toasters are covered in plastic, so that you can easily wipe it off. There is also a removable rack to put your cupcakes on, if that is what you want to do. It really couldn’t get any easier than that. There isn’t much mess or cleanup, no matter what you decide to do.
The one feature I find somewhat annoying is the sound that it makes when you flip the bread cycle. It seems a bit loud, but I can live with that. The fact that you can control the toast with your finger rather than your thumb doesn’t bother me either. Some of the other features that are available can be a bit confusing, but in the end, they aren’t that important to me.
It is a great idea that you can buy a touch screen toaster to cut down on your expenses at the end of the day. As long as you understand how they work, you shouldn’t have any issues. The only real issue that I have is probably the fact that I wish that there was a bread cycle that also did heat up toast. Whatever the case may be, I am very happy with my toaster and I think everyone should have one. You should try one out too.
